I AM WITH THE BAND, MAN!

So you wanna be a rock ’n’ roll star?! Well maybe you’ve not got the chops of a Jimmy Page, the voice of Freddie Mercury, or the body of Beyonce, but you can still look the part! We’ve contacted two of our favourite websites, Truffle Shuffle and ASOS, for their latest band-inspired clothing. These cool items aren’t your usual shoddy gig stall fare; no, they incorporate excellent tailoring with cool prints and fabrics. Plus they look fantastic.

TRUFFLE SHUFFLE
This website takes its name from the little jig that fat kid in The Goonies used to do - a classic recall of the 1980s! With this in mind, the website hosts a huge array of 70s, 80s and 90s inspired music, TV, movie and pop culture t-shirts for both men and women. Here are two of our current faves:

Men’s Rolling Stones Retro T-Shirt
With the release of Shine A Light, the Stones are cool again making this retro t-shirt a perfect choice for fans everywhere. The pic comes from a late 1970s tour poster, when the Stones were cool again... fitting huh? £24.99 by Famous Forever from www.truffleshuffle.com.

Women’s Bros When Will I Be Famous T-Shirt

Who can forget Bros? Two effete twin brothers (and a guy with brown hair and a dodgy leather jacket playing bass) who climbed the UK chart, dangly ear rings, ripped jeans and creeper shoes in tow! For all you girls who ripped the pages of your Smash Hits magazines and plastered Luke and Matt on your wall, this one’s for you. £24.99 by Famous Forever from www.truffleshuffle.com.

Men’s Beatles Revolver T-shirt
The Beatles’ 1966 release, Revolver, marked the change in the Fab Four’s musical direction. As you can probably make out from the print design on this t-shirt, the band was moving towards more experimentation, both inside and outside the studio. A landmark t-shirt for a landmark album. £19.99 from www.truffleshuffle.com.

ASOS
The good people at ASOS know a fair bit about good looking clothes, so their selection of music t-shirts has a definite whiff of top notch design and on-point style. Nice.

Men’s Led Zeppelin 1977 Tour T-Shirt
A few of you may say, "that t-shirt’s been around for ages!" You’d be right, to a point. Amplified have taken a trad design and spiced it up a bit, with diamante sequins, gothic colour, distressed finish and a reverse hem. Worn by Steve Jones apparently, but don’t let that put you off - £35 from www.asos.com.

Men’s Jimi Hendrix Experience T-Shirt
Taking its cue from 1960s psychedelia, this excellent t-shirt features the 60s’ first guitar maestro at his peak. Yours for £38 from www.asos.com.
