Logging On - Your first step is to register to be a member of Think Like... This is really easy. Just click on the 'Register' button at the top of the homepage and enter your details. Then hit 'Submit' and you're a member!

Your Profile - When you log on you will see in the top left-hand corner a little box with your name and some information below, including an Edit Profile button, Inbox access, Friend counter, My Requests, Posts and Comments. Here's how it works:

Edit Profile: Here you can change the level of information others see about you. This includes your date of birth, email address, password, interests and much more. You can also give yourself an avatar picture. Just upload a jpeg to this section and it will become your profile picture when you log on. Please, nothing offensive here or it will just get declined by our administrators!

Inbox: Here you can view sent and received private messages to your registered member friends.

Friend Counter: This shows you how many registered member friends you currently have. It also states which ones are currently online, so by clicking here you can see who might be up for a bit of a discussion in the comments section or in the forums!

To add friends is very simple. Simply click on an article and you'll see in the comments boxes below who has been posting their comments. Click on the user name of the person commenting and you'll see their profile. Click on “Request Friend” and they'll get a message next time they log in saying you want to hook up as friends. They can accept, ignore or decline your request. You can also invite friends not signed up to Think Like... by clicking on the 'Invite a Friend' button and entering their email address. They'll be sent an email saying you're encouraging them to sign up!

Post: This tells you the number of postings you have made in the Forum section.

Comments: Here you'll see how many comments you've made on various articles on the site

Navigating Think Like... - Now you're all set up, getting around the site is very easy.

Think Like... Topics: We've broken down Think Like... into four sections that are of interest to both men and women: Entertainment, Friendships, Relationships and Fashion. You will find the latest articles in each of these sections on the left-hand side of the home page. You can also access articles via the section buttons across the top of your page, or, if you scroll down on the home page, in four boxes below the 'Hot Topic' article. You can also access archived articles in the 'Other Discussions' option at the base of each article.

Your Rant: Adjacent to every article on Think Like… is a section we call Your Rant. Logged on members read the article and then vote on what they think about it. You can only vote once, but if you return to the article you can see the ongoing results from other members' votes. You can also vote on any number of other topics in the 'What Do You Think' section and see the results separated by male and female scores - a true indication of what they're thinking!

Comments: If you've read an article and have something to say, don't be shy! Male and female comment boxes are at the base of every article, where you'll see other members reacting to the story and to each other! Enter into a discussion here as much as you want! Please remember though, nothing too offensive or it will just get pulled - we want Think Like... to be a pleasant place to visit for everyone!

Forum: Fancy saying more on an issue? Head to the Forum section. All Think Like... articles are archived for discussion in a forum environment. Again, nothing offensive please! For what we allow and don't on the site, head to the Terms of Use at the bottom of this page.
